iTherm® Alkyd is formulated using high quality maleic modified resin ester derivatives which are impervious to the effects of petroleum products like oil, grease, diesel, etc. on the road surface. This unique property makes iTherm® Alkyd more durable on highly dense traffic areas such as: inner city and urban roadways. iTherm® Alkyd has excellent glass beads retention, good heat stability, and is suitable for all kinds of applications on asphalt and Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) roads. iTherm® Alkyd is available in granular powder form in 50 lb. batch inclusion bags*.

iTherm® Hydrocarbon is formulated using high quality C5 petroleum resins which offer good heat stability, good adhesion and ease of application. iTherm® Hydrocarbon can be used for all types of markings such as: intersections, long-line, legends, and symbols, and is suitable for all kinds of applications on asphalt and Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) roads. iTherm® Hydrocarbon is available in granular powder form in 50 lb. batch inclusion bags*.

*Batch inclusion bags are bags that can be charged directly into the preheater/premelter.

Screed type applications

A technique that forms a line on the road surface when molten thermoplastic material is poured through a dispensing shoe under gravity with a prescribed thickness and width.
Spray type applications

Molten thermoplastic deposited on the road surface under pressure through a nozzle.
Extrusion type applications

Molten thermoplastic material is laid on the surface of the road by a special pump.
